St. Francis - St. Maximilian Parish at 62811 New Haven Road, Ray, MI 48096 US - Maintenance Crew

Maintenance Crew

The St. Francis-St Maximilian maintenance crew, more commonly known as the "Dirt and Donuts Guys", is a group of volunteers that perform many of the routine maintenance items around our church buildings. They generally meet every Wednesday to take care of the general maintenance needs of the parish. We start with meeting for breakfast at 'Dimitris", located at 23 mile rd and Gratiot between 7;30 and 8:00 AM. During the summer months to cut the grass, tend the flower beds and any other outdoor maintence at both the Center and the Church. On the first and third Wednesday of all 12  months we help unload the food pantry delivery into the basemant of the parish center building an 23 Mile Rd.  They also handle many of the set up and maintenance tasks inside the church, except for the cleaning. In spite of the title, several women parishoners also participate in this informal group.

Any and all are welcome to join in on the work and comradery. Amos Clotfelter is the unofficial leader of this bunch, see his picture in the parish council directory.
